Employee training is essential for any organisation’s success; a GP surgery is no different. Our vision is to be a compassionate and committed provider of clinical excellence where our staff are motivated to achieve their potential to deliver diverse, local, patient centred services.
We can only achieve this by ensuring there is dedicated time for the training of both staff and GP’s. The surgery therefore takes part in the Countywide initiative to close for an afternoon to allow for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) learning activities.
The Surgery will therefore be closed for Training from 12.30pm on the following dates in 2018:
- Wednesday February 21st
- Wednesday March 14th
- Wednesday April 18th
- Wednesday May 16th
- Wednesday June 13th
- Wednesday July 11th
- Wednesday September 12th
- Wednesday October 10th
- Wednesday November 14th
- Wednesday December 5th
If you require medical attention when the surgery is closed, please telephone NHS 111 to speak to a fully trained adviser, who will ask you questions to assess your symptoms, then give you the healthcare advice you need or direct you straight away to the local service that can help you best.
